In 2021, SPIETH Maschinenelemente has strengthened its presence and commitment in Italy with the opening of a new site in Villasanta, not far from Milan.
The company, headquartered in Esslingen (Baden-Württemberg) and specialist in locknuts and shaft-hub-connections expanded its position as a successful development partner in the international arena.
The management of the sales subsidiary SPIETH Italia Srl is in the hands of Fabio Villa (44).
The beginning of SPIETH's business involvement in Italy goes back many years - now the country is one of the most important foreign markets in Europe for the long-established company. Consequently, the motivation to expand the commitment in the Italian market was very high.
"With our new location, we offer our customers clear added value because we can optimize the sales and communication channels. Direct contact with our partners is invaluable, especially for demanding projects. At the same time, a subsidiary in the heart of the Italian machine tool industry shows our long-term commitment," said Managing Director Alexander Hund at the time, explaining the decision in favor of Milan.
The company was all the more pleased about the rental of the new office building for the sales subsidiary. From now on, business will be conducted in the new headquarter in Burago Molgora. This is where modern work and life is lived: in harmony with the environment, the SefiHub is a co-working space that combines different industry sectors in one building. Open and bright spaces with modern conference rooms and event locations leave nothing to be desired. Work-life balance is also taken care of with an in-house gym.
As the second largest machine tool market in Europe and fourth largest in the world, there is even more potential for SPIETH in Italy to discover. In addition to machine tools, drive technology and pumps and compressors, the food and packaging industries are increasingly important to SPIETH as key markets with a growing demand for their precision products.
